The agency had outgrown its previous office and needed more collaborative workspace, organised storage for frequently changing promotional stock, and a multifunctional training and event area. The new office also had to support focused work during client events. The existing site — a former commercial canteen — brought its own challenges, including a long curved wall, unexpected columns and a double-height void uncovered during demolition.

The plan is organised into three clear zones: play, work and store. A boardroom opens onto a lounge and bar to support larger team and training events, while a meeting pod and call booths form a buffer to the main work area. Floor-to-ceiling glass keeps enclosed rooms visually connected to the wider team. Existing columns were left exposed and absorbed into meeting-room walls, while a new opening into the roof void brought natural light and height into the centre of the office. Bright wallpaper, painted colour accents, oak flooring and cost-efficient off-the-shelf materials create impact without unnecessary complexity.
The office balances energy with practicality. Social and event spaces can expand when needed without disrupting focused work, while colour and domestic cues reinforce the company’s family-oriented culture. By working with the surprises of the existing building rather than hiding them, the project delivered a distinctive, flexible workplace on time and on budget.
