The brief combined a 50-person standing meeting area, private offices, open workstations, team privacy, cross-functional collaboration and a communal kitchen. With no single work mode dominating the day, the plan needed to maximise space and let people move easily between focused tasks, project work, informal meetings and social time.

The layout was developed with input from staff and organised around flexible, multi-use settings. Meeting rooms double as breakout spaces, while hot-desking allows employees to choose locations that suit the task rather than remain tied to one workstation. Lockers provide secure personal storage and support the move toward greater mobility. Sports and travel references bring the client’s culture into the environment, giving the office an energetic creative-agency character. At the centre of the social programme, a kitchen with an island bar supports shared lunches, informal conversations and end-of-week drinks, while the larger communal area accommodates the company’s standing meetings.

The finished office makes collaboration and movement part of the everyday routine. Staff can shift between different settings without losing a sense of belonging, and the communal spaces reinforce the social culture behind the business. The result feels dynamic and professional, but also relaxed enough to be a place people want to spend time.
