The sound industrial shell required a complete internal overhaul. Designers needed breakout areas and meeting rooms that supported fluid collaboration, while the workshop brought specialist technical requirements. The client also needed an impressive way to present work to customers without separating the design studio from the making process.

Curved reception desks and walls draw on the forms and movement of automotive design. Sleek white surfaces give the client areas a precise, contemporary character, balanced by timber in work and breakout zones for warmth and texture. The boardroom integrates large presentation screens and built-in audio for collaborative media reviews. Overlooking the workshop, a curved switchable-glass wall can turn transparent to reveal the latest model on an exhibition turntable, making product presentation part of the architecture. The office and workshop are planned as connected parts of one design process rather than independent environments.

The completed facility gives Sino Engineering a professional setting for clients and a highly functional home for its design team. Collaboration, technical work and presentation are brought together, with the reveal wall and turntable turning project milestones into memorable events.
