The specialist programme required two observation spaces for as many as 18 people, high-grade dual-channel audio and an interview room capable of switching rapidly between research facility, UX lab and workshop. These technical functions had to feel discreet and intuitive, while staff areas supported focus, collaboration and informal exchange.

A neutral palette and clean architectural lines give the workplace a bright, minimal foundation, with subtle futuristic detailing reflecting the client’s focus on innovation. The main research environment is planned around clear observation and reliable audio performance. A flexible interview room can move between one-way-mirror research, UX testing and workshop modes within minutes, allowing the same footprint to support very different studies. In the working areas, warmer colour and texture are introduced through breakout spaces to balance the controlled research setting and give staff more relaxed places to meet and recharge.
The headquarters turns a highly specific technical brief into an environment that feels calm and adaptable. Research functions are rigorous but not institutional, while the workplace remains warm enough for everyday use — reflecting Cube House Works’ belief that better insight begins with understanding people.
