The project needed to build on the identity established by the first Luneurs store while giving this larger location its own character. The design had to communicate the craft behind the bakery, draw passing pedestrians inside and create a lively community hangout without losing the refined simplicity of the brand.

The finished space feels recognisably Luneurs but more generous and communal. Production remains visible, materials feel honest and tactile, and the relationship to the street gives the bakery an easy neighbourhood presence — a place designed for both everyday rituals and spontaneous meetings.

Brushed stainless steel and white marble counters put the working bakery and its products at the centre of the room. These precise, harder surfaces are balanced by walnut, brick and other natural textures that connect the interior to the artisanal process. Large walnut-framed openings and a generous product window make the activity visible from the street and invite people into the space. Raw concrete walls, vertical white tiles, the signature concave mirror and a hand-laid terrazzo floor maintain continuity with the first shop. Terracotta-coloured bricks are turned to expose their textured reverse face, adding an unexpected layer of warmth and craft to the walls.
