A monochromatic blue entrance creates a moment of pause between the city and the venue. Inside, the plan reduces the perceived scale of the bar and uses indirect lighting, enveloping lounge chairs and framed booth seating to create intimacy without adding a costly suspended ceiling. The material palette draws from the era of Charlie Chaplin through a contemporary lens: blue-painted plywood, burl and walnut veneers, marble, Hong Kong tile, velvet and neon. Deep blue tones absorb the room’s scale, while the luminous logo blue provides identity and contrast. The auditorium and bar remain distinct in mood and function, but the shared palette and carefully managed circulation allow them to operate as one evening experience.
