Recognisable elements from the original restaurant had to be retained without making the new venue feel like a compressed copy. The interior also needed to preserve the operational clarity required by a smaller plan.

The design carries across key Liquid Laundry references, including industrial detailing, tiled flooring and a visible beer cool room. These elements provide continuity, while their scale and arrangement are adjusted to suit the more intimate site.
The result is immediately connected to Liquid Laundry but feels more compact and direct. Familiar materials and visible beer storage give the venue character without overwhelming its smaller footprint.
