The space needed to express Vietnamese street culture without relying on literal decoration. It also had to organise communal dining, an active open kitchen and bar, and smaller seating areas within a compact footprint.

Raw and refined elements are deliberately layered. Trowelled concrete walls and brushed stainless-steel shelving reference the working street edge, while green leather banquettes, planter boxes and tall planting soften the room. A large custom light draws the eye over long communal tables toward the open kitchen and coffee bar. Rustic timber tables and French-style chairs sit on a green-and-grey mosaic floor, acknowledging the French influence within Vietnamese visual culture.
The finished restaurant feels fresh, energetic and informal. Green tones unify the planting, furniture and floor, while the open kitchen and communal layout keep food preparation and social interaction at the centre of the experience.
