The interior needed to express the industrial character of brewing without making a large room feel hard or impersonal. It also had to carry Boxing Cat's recognisable personality across dining, drinking and production areas.

The brewery remains visible through glass behind the bar, supported by a large tap wall, a chrome-pipe ceiling feature and an industrial metal-clad counter. Natural timber, concrete tile and the exposed high ceiling establish a tap-house language. Fabric banquettes and Scandinavian-influenced furniture soften the harder materials, while maroon accents, large artworks and screens bring the brand into the room.
The result balances the energy of a working brewery with the comfort required for longer dining. Guests can see where the beer is made, but warm materials and upholstered seating ensure the venue feels sociable rather than purely industrial.
